what colour and breed is this?????

Hi BlueCamas,

I've just bought a Belgian d'Uccle which I knew was not one of the recognised 'colours' for Belgian d'Uccle but I loved the colour & pattern so bought her anyway. It took me some time to find what colour she was and it wasn't until I looked at some related breeds that I found out she was a Quail. You mentioned in your post that the originator of this threads hen might be a cross. I have added some photos of my Belgian d'Uccle Quail and would appreciate your comments.

I love your hen I have one almost just like her. my hen does not have hardly eny red on her but a spot near her head on her neck. mine i think is a mix quail Belgian D'Anvers. She looks most like quail Belgian D'Anvers any way. except fore her feet which are feathered too. i hope you don't mind that i used your chicken fore my profile pic ps. yours may be one too
