I have just hatched out some pekin bantam eggs from Ebay and wondered what colour they will be. Any ideas would be great.

Also Chick 6 looks like a different breed. Do you think it is a pekin bantam?

These are probably the result of mixing different colors of Cochins together, so most likely they won't fit exactly with anything. But I'll make a few guesses.

1 maybe the porcelain color variety.

2 maybe the Colombian color variety

3 This one definitely has mixed coloring. It sort of resembles the mottled color variety.

4 maybe a buff x partridge in color.

5 maybe splash.

6 looks to be self blue in color, otherwise known as lavender. It could be a booted bantam or a Silkie cross.

Really only time will tell with these. If the seller did not specify color varieties, chances are they're of mixed coloring, as I mentioned at the beginning of this post. Which means you may get some pretty unique patterns with these.

Thank you so much for this. Will be really interesting to see how they turn out but it's nice to have an idea of what they will look like. Fingers crossed they are hens and not roosters.
