my little lavender araucana x with a warren has become a very pretty bird, she is black with a speckled brown bib with green tint plumage coming. what colour eggs do you think she will lay, as my araucana lay blue eggs.

Green, if mine are anything to go by. Yours are both lovely.

The two white ones in this picture are the same mix; Lavender Araucana over RSL hens. I have ten altogether, only two are black.

Row #1, egg 4; row #2, egg 5, Row #3, eggs 1 & 4, Row #6, egg #1 are all from this cross, so a lot of variation in shade.

what a lovely bunch of colours your chickens have laid, this is so exciting. i have silver laced wyandotte x lavender araucana baby chicks, i can’t wait to see what they will look like when they grow up.

Those should be lovely. The rose comb should be dominant, so all should have that from the Wyandotte. The Araucana will pass on the extended black base, so you should see largely black birds with some silver coming through at the neck. Lavender is recessive, so no lav chicks unfortunately, but they all will carry the gene hidden.
