What colour will my coturnix chick be?

We've just hatched out 6 cute little coturnix quail. 5 look to be Italian or Gold colouring but one is all yellow except for his/her black eyebrows. Any ideas on what colour it will feather out to be? The Dad is a golden, 2 of the eggs were from our Italian girl and 4 are from our white girl - the parents are in my profile pic (they were bought as youngsters from a breeder so not sure about their parentage).

Can't answer the question, I'm a chicken lady…but had to comment how cute the baby is. My dad raised quail, but i never realized how many different breeds there are.

They are super cute and so little - the kids and I can't stop checking on them!

My dad hatched and raised plain BobWhite quail…honestly until I joined BYC, I didn't realize the varieties of non-chicken fowl. Maybe one day I'll expand, who knows.

Your yellow chick will be white in 2 weeks or so..... As a rule, yellow chicks of most fowl are white birds......
