Thanks, I thought she was a gold duckwing. Her Mother was a gold duckwing but was killed by a sparrowhawk last Friday. I nearly gave this little pullet away to a friend, but I'm so glad I didn't.. as she's my only one nowThere isn't names for them. The third pic from bottom is pretty much a gold duckwing pattern but the others are mixes patterns.
Very similar to gold duckwing and buff crosses.
Thank you.. I think so tooThey are all lovely!!
Aw thanx so much. They have a bit of a campine look to them.. would be cool to have a descriptive word for their colouring thoOmg they are so handsome and cute!
But they don't have a specific pattern
How do they look now? It does look like they have some mixed columbian, duckwing, and partridge/penciled patterns.Hi Everyone,
I'm posting a collection of pics of 6 pullets. These 6 have super satiny soft feathers.. their sisters have wooly silkie feathers and are still dull fluff balls. What colours would you describe them as? They look much the same as the pic.. only a little bigger and combs and wattles growing. Will take some shots tomorrow as they're already roostingHow do they look now? It does look like they have some mixed columbian, duckwing, and partridge/penciled patterns.
Updated pics of the 4 hens I kept. 1 being the golden duckwing, 2 strawberry blondes with fun patterns.. and my favourite is the ginger headed pullet with the darker patterned feathers. They are a joyHow do they look now? It does look like they have some mixed columbian, duckwing, and partridge/penciled patterns.
