My 3 week old Sebright roo's comb really started to stand out the other day. It is now pink-ish red and much more prominent. But unlike my Japanese and Mille Fleur roos, my Sebright does not have "points" or whatever you call them. His comb is just a smooth with some rigidness. It almost looks like a pea comb in the making, but I just don't know....
What kind of comb should he have?
Thank you to anyone who helps!

Yippee! I can actually answer a sebright question. According to the standard, they shouls have a large rose comb. It is a sort of large oval shaped comb with a spike facindg the back. The color is purpleish red. Hope this helps a little.

I always call the "points" on the single comb the "tines." I am pretty sure that my term isn't anything scientific. Hee hee.
