What coop do I need

I have 20 turkens and 6 Americanas Plus a 1 yr old roo and 5 sexlinks my coop is 5x7 now I was going to make it 12x 7 is that big enough??

32 chickens X 4ft per chicken = 128 sq ft

5 X7 coop = 35 sq st

12 X 7 coop = 84 sq ft


It looks like your a little short. Where do you live? If your in a warmer climate where the chickens will not be spending much time in the coop because of snow you might be OK. How big is your run or are they free ranging?

That many birds, You need a chicken house not a coop.
Seriously, make it as big as you can, but not less than say 12x12 or equivalent.
Even bigger is better if you can though. Many long time chicken owners would recommend double or even triple that size.
