Good day everyone so I have this 2months and one week old cockerel who was so bursting with energy and character, he was so healthy and had started attempting mounting my small hens before I went off to school
It's been one week before returning home yesterday to find out all my bird's where abandoned, my mum is elderly and runs a catering business my sis leaves early for work and return late at night and they said they haven't had time for them
So since that 1 week I left they've only gone to the coop to feed and refill their feeder's twice
What I returned too was terrible though the older hens are fine just a drop in egg laying but this young cockerel is like a walking corp's he's now all bone his wattle's and comb had shrinked and turned pale he's not eating well and not moving he just stays at the corner and be sleeping all the time, his poo is terrible and I don't want to lose him please help

Have you been able to get water and food into your rooster? You may need to have him take bits at a time if he has not been eating regularly.
How long are you gone at a time? Are you set up with large feeders and waterers that can last during the time you are away?

Here are some photos of his current state and poo

He is drinking expecially now I added vitamins to the drink but just peck's little at the feed then moves away
And no large feeder's just bowls that water would last max of 2 days the feed is max of 1 day

Put out more bowls of water for sure, and more food, enough to last them all for a week. It's essential that they get enough to eat and drink, and the stronger/older birds will get whatever is available if you're short on anything. The others may starve or die of thrist. Now that you know the folks you were depending on are not dependable, it is up to you to make sure they can survive with only your care. Kudos to you for trying to fix the problem and get help for your rooster. I hope he pulls through.

Might could try feeding moistened / mash feed to get water and electrolytes into him, or a little sugar water in the feed. Kinda like applesauce consistency.

Here's some options for when you have some time and a little money, or maybe things hanging around the house.

Gutter feeders (gutters are about $6-7 for a ten foot length at hardware store, and cinder blocks are relatively cheap also, $2-3 ea).

5 gallon buckets ($3-5 each at the hardware store) with horizontal nipples sitting on a cinderblock (make an air vent at the top of the bucket to be sure the water will come out the bottom, or take out the O-ring on the bucket lid and make sure it's not airtight when sealed). Use a drill and the included drill bit in the kit to mount the nipples into the bucket, and then train your chickens pretending your finger is a beak. They will figure it out pretty quickly.

Starvation or dehydration, maybe both. I'd get those fluids into him, and then see about soft foods, cooked egg, wet feed, etc. If they ran out of food or water at any point, odds are good the larger stronger hens got to eat and drink their fill, and the smallest bird(s) didn't get much or anything once they were done.

When you said he'd lost significant weight, and with his pale comb and behavior, that's what I think must've happened.

If not, it's some type of illness, but try getting him well hydrated and fed first and see if that helps.

Give fresh clear water as well as electrolytes or electrolyte/water moistened food. A little raw egg yolk can also help if he just doesn't even have the energy to eat, or crumbles well moistened with egg yolk. Small bits at a time is good. You may have to baby him a bit. Good luck!

There's an Article on here about syringe feeding (can be tricky to do without killing your bird), for when the bird is really sick, but I don't know if you're there yet. If your bird is still trying to eat and drink at all he may recover. You can search on this Forum and decide what you think.

I guess it's just dehydration and starvation like you said
Though been giving him antibiotics he started eating and moving around today though not strongly yet, he followed me around like he used to
Would be returning to college tomorrow, just hope my sis can take care of his medication and health

This was his poo from early this morning
