Hello fellow Backyard Chickens & such peeps!

I need your wisdom once again...I have a Cornish Cross that didn’t make it to culling last summer, today I noticed it wasn’t standing up and it’s toes were curled in, like folded in. And it looked rough to say the least. Is there some kind of disease that causes this? The others seem to bully it as well:(

Thank you in advance for any tips or advise.

Cornish Cross are bred to grow big and fast to provide meat, they do not usually have long lives. Many don't even make it to the 8-10 week recommended age for processing. They are heavy and often their legs cannot handle the weight. They also tend to have internal organ problems. Your bird may have reached the end of it's life span. PIctures might be helpful, to see the legs and feet. With any other bird I would recommend vitamins (B's to be specific, especially riboflavin and thiamine) as that can cause curled toes, hock sitting, and balance issues. You can try that if you want to, but if this is a meat bird, then that may not be what is going on.
