I guess it's chicken layer next year, huh? Too late for this year I think... the cock bird dropped most of his train.
 
This actually happens commonly with shipped eggs... there are some times when shipped eggs get 'soft' air cells, and the chicks get to growing too big to turn around or move to break themselves out. They go the full term, are completely whole with nothing else wrong, but they just can't get out at the end.
