What could it be?

I set up my game camera down by our creek to see what wanders around down there. I uploaded my pictures today and came across one that I have no clue what it is. The water is only a couple inches deep probably about 6 to 12 inches, and right were the object appears to be moving there are logs in the creek and a fallen tree above. I moved the camera to a better angle to see the entire creek. And I was wondering what you all thought it might be.

Whatever it was traveled to the right of the picture, because there is a second picture where you can see about an inch of the rest of its tail.

It's really hard to tell just from the tip of the tail, but if I had to guess I would say either a fox or coyote.

I'd guess a fox tail....but my first though was a jumping fish.

A red fox would have a white tip on it's tail a grey fox would have a black stripe that can be seen from the sides of it's tail, looks to be a yote

As far as I know, red foxes are a bit redder and gray foxes have bushier tails... I'm thinking coyote.

Hmm, I think a coyote is definitely a likely possibilty. I've never seen a fox by my house but that doesn't mean they aren't here just like I know there are mountain lions around even though I've never seen one by my house. I set the camera up again tonight and will check it tomorrow. Thanks for the inputs!
