What did I buy? They are very colorful and small.

I am mostly a chicken person, so I'd greatly appreciate some help from a turkey person. For the last two years I have raised some Double-Breasted White Turkeys that have turned out VERY large. Those are the only turkeys I have any knowledge/experience of/with. This year I only managed to get two DBW turkeys, I wanted six. Today I went to the feed store. They had two "5 month old toms" (no further info) someone had sold them, that they had been feeding for a month and really wanted to get rid of. They knew I had wanted more turkeys and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So now I would like to figure out what breed(s) they are, how old they actually are, and verify they are both toms. Looking on line, they might be Heritage (standard) Bronze, Eastern Wild, or Narragansett, but I'm not sure which. The bigger one with lighter wings I am calling Cranberry and the other one is Sweet Potato. The DB Whites are Stuffing (bigger) and Gravy.

It is really hard to see their breast feathers and I don't know whether or not this is their adult plumage but if it is their adult plumage, the light edges on their breast feathers along with some other traits make me guess that both Cranberry and Sweet Potato are hens.

I didn't know the breast feathers were important (chicken person) so I didn't post any. Here are some:

Looks like my "toms" may be at least half hens. I don't consider that a bad thing. I like turkey eggs. I like baby turkeys even better. This might turn out better than I thought!

I think Cranberry looks more like a Narragansett, and sweet potato like a bronze, I stand by my they are females statement.

In dark colored turkeys, the hens have light edging on their breast feathers and toms have dark edges on the breast feathers. Both of these are hens.

Yeah, now that I see the Brest I say both hens. Do you have a tom already? I dunno what colour they are. Possibly a cross?
