hi all
our first attempt at incubating duck eggs. the first couple were supposed to hatch a couple days ago. temp is between 99 and 100, and humidity is around 65. my husband took out the turner and had been misting and turning 3x a day. I've candled them and they look"full" when he turns them they seem heavy on one side. what did we do wrong? oh yeah, I posted earlier that the humidity was low, but it wasn't, I got a new meter, and everything was fine

If an egg is heavy, that's usually a sign that there was life. After day 7 you can candle them and check for development, so you know if it's going well. Then candle them every week, and you won't be surprised if they hatch or not. Don't throw any away until you are sure that they are dead. I've learned that through unfortunate experience. Your incubating parameters sound good too, so I'm not sure what went wrong there. Were the eggs shipped?

no they're from out
