What did you do in the garden today?

Today is a beautiful late Feb day in Central Florida, I'm off to transplant three Tababulya (Sp) trees I have grown from seed that are about 10 years old or about 6 foot tall. Beautiful Yellow flower that looks like a trumpet. Wish they would grow fuller like the pink varity but hey they were free. Wondering why the trees at my church have held their flowers for over a month and mine fell right off. maybe need more regular watering?

Hey! I'm in Central Florida too. Lake County. Try sprinkling some Epsom salt around the trees. Where the branches end is where you want to scatter it. Also, someone told me about banana water. Soak 2-3 peels in a gallon of water for 48 hours and then use that water around your plants. The difference is incredible! It can be stinky, so cover it. I strain it and then the peels go into the compost.

Ill give that a try, I never got to do the trans plant as I had medical problems and now just getting over a chest and head cold. So I need to get this done very soon oor it will be getting to late in the season.

beautiful! I just ordered some roots and seeds. I am going to start a nice asparagus bed. I love watching it grow and it's really pretty. Plus home grown is much better than what we buy in the store. It's worth the wait for harvest!
