What did you do in the garden today?

I watered everything today. Supposed to have a lot of wind tomorrow. We cleaned up a lot of dead wood today, two pick up truck loads, made a big burn pile. 20180411_144410.jpg

Saw some more spinach spouting today. No other sprouts yet though Planted 12 strawberry roots so wish me luck on that. I had tons of strawberry plants years ago and that was the year I realized that a goat can easily jump a 4 foot fence. I almost had goat stew that night:mad: But lesson learned and now I have a 6 foot fence. Tried to re-plant roots last year and got nothing so wish me luck. And then I again stared at the garden some more and still couldn’t figure out how I will fit everything. Ha ha I also worked on trying to get rid of the mystery bug that has invaded one 4 x 4 raised bed where I am supposed to plant the remainder of my cabbage. It stays right in that one Bed and I don’t see them anywhere else. Very weird. Not sure what they are

If everything is it just so in my garden it’s enough to drive me to drink. But now a mystery bug? They are hiding in the soil. That’s where the remainder of my cabbage should go. And I love my cabbage have you ever seen and extremely small little white bug. Looks like it has six legs but it crawls back I need the soil so fast and they are so small it’s hard to tell. And it’s weird because I just put all my raised beds in a different location in my garden. My garden will be about 25 x 50 once I’m done with the expansion and I have for raised beds in there for my spring vegetables. That way I don’t step on on my small sprouts while I’m trying to plan my summer vegetables. My clumsy butt would crush them all otherwise

My BF is 71 I am 58 both have hell of a time bending now turned the garden into tires stacked in 2 high about 16 of them Moles are destroying as much as they can but unable to damage this garden those are our problem even three outside cats cannot control all of them well off to bed here now
