What did you do in the garden today?

Lol, if dog hair kept rabbits away my whole street would be rabbit free. I have two northern breeds and I still have animals of every sort try to rid my plants.
Now an encounter with the actual dog? That usually scares them off for good! XD
Unless you have groundhogs. Groundhogs are awful.
Incidentally, 3' is the best height for an economical rabbit fence. Many motivated rabbits can clear 2' but struggle with 3'. A 4' fence guarantees rabbits stay out and generally prevents deer as well (though a well-motivated deer will clear 4' as well).

I picked a cup of strawberries and threw that many over the fence that something had burrowed into.
My grape vine e in its first year is loaded with blossoms. It's a Mars as and it's self fertile. I'm excited we will get our first grapes this year. And my elderberries have a few blossom clusters in their first year.

Dh is putting my raised bed together so I can plant my calls lilies and glad bulbs. I am trying to decide what else to plant in it.

Today I transplanted my leeks. I have high hopes for them even though they are very small still. I also weeded my peas and repotted some basil right before the rains hit.

All I have planted so far is 12 Flat Dutch Cabbage plants. Later today I will be planting tomatoes, squash, green pepper, cucumbers, corn and green beans.

I am going to plant my tomatoes today and hopefully finish our raised bed and get some squash and other veggies planted.

I got some of my garden planted this week. Only about 60 tomato and 60 pepper plants. I still have a few more pepper and tomato plants to put in, as well as some squash and cucumbers and onions. I'm glad it stopped raining long enough to work the ground.
