Lol, if dog hair kept rabbits away my whole street would be rabbit free.
I have two northern breeds and I still have animals of every sort try to rid my plants.
Now an encounter with the actual dog? That usually scares them off for good! XD
Unless you have groundhogs. Groundhogs are awful.
Incidentally, 3' is the best height for an economical rabbit fence. Many motivated rabbits can clear 2' but struggle with 3'. A 4' fence guarantees rabbits stay out and generally prevents deer as well (though a well-motivated deer will clear 4' as well).

I have high hopes for them even though they are very small still. I also weeded my peas and repotted some basil right before the rains hit.
