What did you do in the garden today?

So pretty. I love cactus, however, I can grow just about anything, but my friends know that I am a "cactus killer." I just can't seem to get it right. So I'll just have to admire your green cactus thumb.

The trick is to neglect them

How many did you pick up Penny? We have 12 little peeps in the mini coop.

Did everything yesterday as today is only 42 degrees, the winds are howling to 55 mph and we'll go below freezing today. Was at a fiber fair today where a woman was bragging that she planted her whole garden yesterday. (Nothing but cold season and potatoes go in the ground here before June 1, the ground is just still too cold- OR you better be ready to protect them, we can frost until the middle of May.)

DW suggested I wulf it down also. I would,,, if the dogzzzz were not fertilizing it.:old
I do use Lawn fertilizer, but without the weed killer, and other pesticides. My grandchildren and chickens can play on it with no worries:thumbsup

The dandelions take over our yard! I think it might have something to do with our kids blowing the seeds as soon as they find a puffball.

We had beautiful weather today! My husband built a long tiered planter for our deck today, and we just finished staining it. It is too dark for pics tonight. Tomorrow we are going to add dirt and plant tomatoes, peppers, spinach, and lettuce in it.
I had no luck this year with growing my herb garden from seed. I picked up some thyme, rosemary, oregano, sage, lemon thyme, and chocolate mint plants from the farmers market and planted them in pots.
I also added dirt to my potato plants. They have been growing like crazy!
