Glad to find this thread. Today I sprayed everything with home made insecticidal soap. Mealy bugs. This is what we use to keep chickens out of the garden. Insect netting wrapped around the frame. Secured with large binder clips.

Yeah, today two of mine jumped over to lay eggs in planters. I went to check the coop and there were 2 large rat snakes where they usually lay. Couldn’t blame them then.... I got my teenage boy to help me relocate the snakes and then got them all back in so the second girl could lay in the”right place.”

Pretty! Welcome to the thread. Those little fences wouldn't keep my birds out of anything. They mow it over!

I have 8 ft to keep mine from the garden

Raccoon saga. Caught 2 last night. One was quite large! Neighbor also caught one. So, 8 coons in about 6 nights. They murdered more chickens that that, when they wiped out my neighbor’s flock.

lots of digging around the run fence... the coons are not welcome here!
