They are so cute! And look so soft that I wish I could reach through and snuggle them!Good morning/afternoon everyone! I've been off grid a bit for the last few days, taking care of the grandbaby! I need to sit down and catch up on what's been going on with everyone here, when I get a chance! In the meantime, here is an update on the kits, 1 week old today!
Daphne was being quite aggressive today, she growled and nip my arm! She's tired of her babies being messed with...silly girl, but she's being a good mama! They have really grown, but their eyes are still closed! A couple looked a little skinnier today! The mini nipples are out for delivery and will be here soon! I'm hoping I can get them to take in some formula to get them plumped up! If they won't, I will bring in the plumper babies again tonight and give the others a chance to nurse! I will then try to get the ones I bring in to drink some formula! I can't remember if I shared here that we lost 2, we now are trying to keep the remaining 11 alive! We have learned a lot through this process and will be better prepared and have a game plan from the beginning, if we ever get this many again!

I love Rabbit PooI can't wait until we get our own place so I can get whatever animals I want and have as big of a garden as I can handle!! I might talk my husband into rabbits for the snuggability and poop. Obviously, I would start small. Puppy first, then garden, then chickens/quail, then bunnies, then a bigger garden, then a puppy...........![]()

Mine sit in the box together. Usually Joan Crawford is languishing and Blue gets sick of her crap and climbs I with her lol. It's whoever gets there first & yes, they literally wait in line, crazy birds. Usually one in the box, one standing directly in front of her squawking like crazy & then a line out the door:View attachment 2333170
Glyness is my EE drama queen. She sings the egg song for about 30 minutes then gets in her favorite nest box and stays there for a good hour before finally laying her egg. While she's there, she "growls" (it's this weird, guttural, soft, kookaburra sound) at any pullet that gets too close. She doesn't do it if I fish around under her, only another pullet. Then once she's finally laid she comes out and sings her head off. She's the boss girl, the first to lay any eggs, and makes the biggest fuss.Mine sit in the box together. I've made pork belly a few times and the best recipes were Chinese style. Slow cooked with just the top sticking out of a cooking liquid and slow cooked in the oven. That stuff is awesome and so rich. How are you cooking yours?Making a pork belly for dinner, trying a new recipe that’s not bacon. Have a great night all.
