@BReeder! I hope it's not COVID & you start feeling better soon!
@NewBoots I also have a couple different varieties growing here too for the bees, I love the look of the purple with my Black Eyed Susans. I know echinacea is used medicinally, but I've never done anything with it or taken it.
@NewBoots if you get a chance will you take a pic of your bug & bee houses? I'm trying so hard to make a nice place for pollinators here & would love a hive but can't because of the bears - maybe a house would work!
I love that everyone is posting pics now - it's been a long winter. I loooove the pics!
So the 25 strawberry bare roots showed up yesterday & I got them in & watered. We'll see how I like growing them, I feel like those large beds could be much more productive with pepper or garlic plants.

I will give the strawberries a couple years & see, but I already feel like I won't be planting them again when it's time because they won't produce enough, but maybe not. I need to get them mulched today too.
I planted all the bush squash & cukes yesterday too, all far away from the garden because of the stupid bugs. 3 squash in the straw bale too - curious on that! This is my anti-bug garden year - mostly onions, garlic, shallots, beans & hot peppers.

We'll see how that works out, ha!
So seed mat is off & I only have a bunch of cayenne starts under the lights! Almost done!
