Good morning gardeners. My only experience with "maybe" a cross pollination is when I planted summer squash and butternut squash next to each other. The butternut squash didn't do well at all until the summer squash were done and removed. Yesterday was productive. I put another layer of dirt on the potatoes and watered them, of course they grew some more overnight so will need to do it again soon. I mowed the backyard, chicken yard and part of the slope that is safe to do with the push mower. I also did my weekly laundry. Today I may be picking up my new gas grill, that's if they can stuff it into my car. Then it's mowing, trimming the front yard and slope along with some other tasks. My bell pepper seedlings are okay but I'm hoping they will start growing more. It was 48F when I got up this morning so I don't feel terrible about not getting the hot peppers planted in the front yard containers. The corn is still coming up nicely and my bush butternut squash is finally popping through the soil. Everything I direct planted is coming up except for the lima beans. My little rhododendron is starting to bloom and my orange azalea is in full bloom right now. I'm still working on pictures.
