burning bush shrub
Anytime I've seen burning bush - it is quite large/tall. More tall than wide. Not sure if same for the variety you have.

Yep. Looks like it will get big.Anytime I've seen burning bush - it is quite large/tall. More tall than wide. Not sure if same for the variety you have.
I have a few snowball bushes. Right now, they are 6 ft tall. I am zone 8 . They are in the west of the yard, so they get afternoon sun. They do need watered in dry season and only bloom in spring- but are glorious. The hens nap under them. Here are my clearance plants: snowball bush, burning bush shrub, petite rose bush, and I'm 99% sure the other 2 are azaleas. I'm.leaning towards putting all in containers for now, but it looks like the first 2 can get huge, so I'll probably find a spot for them by the deck later. We have to clear some stuff out first. Otherwise, one of the guys would mow them down. I just know itplus we need to spray some vines, etc. I have some sulfur and LOTS of pine needles for the azaleas. Also got some mixed sedum for the flower bed. Dottie had better leave it alone.
Any hints about any of these would be appreciated. I'm in zone 7a. The house faces East/West.
I just couldn't function there. Stay safe please.Oofdah
I love peony, I have one in a pot that I'm hoping to get a few flowers from some day. Maybe once the border trees and shrubs have a little shade I'll plant some mixed in with the natives.I took pictures of the roses and one red peony this morning.
