BYC got it's swing back. Morning yes I left for a hour it got things sorted back to normal now.
Fire started in the wood fire box.

Ah yes, things are normal again. Kitten in one hand, trying to keep it out of our food while we eat lunch. It's chewing on me instead. Plants arrived! Haven't got them out of the box though, which is as tall as I am! Haha, good thing it's not heavy. I brought them in out of the heat since today is going to be quite toasty.

@Sueby, those are just the cutest babies! Made 4 quarts and 5 pints of crushed tomatoes today and a batch of those muffin tin bacon wrapped mini quiches out of the small eggs we'd built up.

it finally rained yesterday! luckily no storm. it is not enough for garden but there is mud in the chicken run. I'll have to put some lime stone before it starts to stink. more rain expected in the next few days.

Thanks! They are so small! I took about 10 pics…and found it hard to see the hummingbird until I zoomed in to crop the pictures!

I haven't seen any hummingbirds since September 22, and the last sighting kind of near me was 10-1. I miss them already!
