What did you do in the garden today?

Looked at those at home depot today 129.99 each

I got them last year, don't remember what I paid for them but it wasn't that much. But I really like them - good on the back since they're so tall.

Seems metal is currently twice what it was last year. Lumber got back to normal, then metal spiked. Ugh. Brought everything and everybody back in again tonight. Mid 30s again. I want off the rollercoaster!

@Elyrian1 Glad I locked in the price for my steel garage doors in August. But ugh.
I just pulled a load out of the dryer; shorts tanks, sweats and hoodies, and mittens. LOL 25 as the high yesterday, snowed this morning, 65 tomorrow, 75 sunday.

tomatoes are tough, maybe some of them survive. don't water them too much till they get new leaves.

What did you say you did when your tomato starts started turning yellow? Mine are getting yellower every week.

My seed potatoes arrived yesterday. I opened them, and was concerned about the state of the sprouts (tips are gray-black and possibly moldy?). Would those of you who know better than me (who knows nothing) tell me what you think?

Potato's can look real gnarly yet once you put them in the ground they'll sprout / resprout just fine. As long as they are not all moldy and rotten they should be just fine for you.

they look much better than those ones I forgot and they sprouted. I planted them and all of them are fine. now recovering from the frost as well.

Have you fertilized them at all? Too much water, not enough food?
