What did you do in the garden today?

I watched a video of a guy slicing a tomato into potting soil and a weed or so later they sprouted.

But it probably depends on what kind of tomato it is.

And how ripe it is. Goes to show the desire of a plant to reproduce!!!

I made a cage for my two tomato plants that are next to each other and a wire trellis for my cucumbers and cantaloupe to climb on. I just have the trellis tied on to the ends of the beds for now but I will add some support boards once the plants get larger and need them.
Also here is a pic of my strawberries they are starting to make fruit.





See the creeping charlie in my strawberry bed. lol I will pluck it out.

Sorry. It was suppose to rain here today but it did not. That's nice since it rained yesterday.

Supposed to get down into 20's every night for the next 4 - 5 nights. I've got stuff planted, but have not bothered to water it in. Will wait till night time temps ease up a bit. Spread some leaves and wood chips in the orchard today. Stuff is budding out nicely.


Weather update: tomorrow night is supposed to be our last frost!!!!!!!!!!
