What did you do in the garden today?

I took 10 lbs of tomatoes, cooked them down, and ended up canning 4 pints of tomato sauce. Next year, I am definitely planting paste tomatoes because it took FOREVER to cook these ones down to where I wanted.

I'm also fairly certain there is another hornworm in my plants... I couldn't find it, though!

Did you remove the seeds and juice first before simmering?

THOSE are the SOB's that tore up my papaya last year !! The damned moths hang around on my jasmine too, and something else similar that I need to spray them for before it's too late.

Crap, now I gotta keep a real close eye on my stuff since I seen the 4$#%# ers flying around again. dammit, why did I have to go look up hornworm, now I got a lot more work to do

Isn't that annoying? You can see the naked branches. You can see the poo. But you cannot see them.

WE HAVE POWER!

They still need to come back tomorrow and finish up a few things. Still no power at the barn and shop yet so my automatic doors won't close for the duck coop and bachelor pen. I will need to leave the dogs outside overnight to dissuade predators as a deterrent.
