What did you do in the garden today?

Not much in the gardens, tightened up the plastic on the garden boxes as it has been sooooo windy.

We lost a tree 2 days ago from the wind, cutting it up today.

Rain the next two days, lots of rain. 60s and humid today and then we move into the 30s tomorrow afternoon and then highs in the 20s. They are saying snow north of us, we won't get any yet but it is coming.

windy as hell today. probably won't be doing much outside. NEED to roast coffee real bad here, but with the crappy weather, that makes it a bit challenging BUT whats worse is, the bees will be staying closer to the house, and they smell me roast, then come and pester me, NOT a good combo !! Maybe Ill just crack the garage door and roast that way, but then keeps the smoke in more so get stoned off my ass by the time the roasting is done. Hmmm.. what to do....

Oh no!! You don’t get snow ! You don’t know what your missing out on!
I remember growing up on south side of chicago we'd get lake storms and theyd dump a foot or so of snow on us. Some winters Id have to climb on the roof of the house and shovel the snow off because it was getting heavy. I remember there'd be like this 8 foot pile of shoveled off snow and Id go jumping into it, burying myself all the way up to the crinkle tart then having to try to shake yourself loose.

But then there was the endless shoveling. My dad had a MONSTER snow blower that i used to run. one day I was being nice and did the neighbors sidewalks for him, but didn't realize that Ed put the garbage out the night before (it was covered with 8 inches of snow so didnt see it) I hit that with the blower and it sucked that crap up and threw it all up on his roof. Man was he pissed, I think more by the fact that I couldn't stop laughing about it. ahh the innocent days.

today, im in florida and if I never see the crap again it's too soon. Besides with the hardware in my spine, very cold tends to be very bad days for me.
