What did you do in the garden today?

[/IMG] Here are a couple of picks. I just started the broccoli and cabbage so they don't look like much now. I water with a garden sprayer and put some wire over it to keep the cat out.

We started getting the fence up for the large garden. They girls have had way too much fun in my planter boxes off the patio so we decided to just enclose the side yard and be done with it. We will finish up with getting the slats and wire up today, and my husband will work on building my gate this week. We aren't in a huge rush to get it done right now, I won't put anything in there until mid March. It's already got irrigation over there, so that's not a huge concern. I can't wait to see it all finished up.

Have a great day everyone!

Looks great! Those are some pretty hens. :)

I have aloe pups that are roughly a year old from plants that I got in Montana (the only aloes I haven't killed and don't seem affected by the cold.) The little green ones are jelly bean succulent (also known as pork and beans succulent) The purpleish one is a plant that I got from my grandma that she says is hen and chicks but I think is something else.
It looks like hen & chicks to me. There are several different varieties of them. The planter looks good!

I put up a new asparagus bed. I plan on putting up another one as soon as I get a couple more boards to frame it up. I'll be moving my asparagus from next to the coop and putting in some new crowns. I still need to put some more soil in before I can move the crowns. I've got 6 bags of composted cow manure and 2 big wheelbarrows full of chicken compost from my run.

I've got my seeds planned that I will be planting this year. I have about half the sees I'll be needing. I need to order the rest this week.
