What did you do in the garden today?

Never seen pure white daffodils before, gorgeous!

It's such a beauty!

Rain didn't make it here. It tried. Now it's just dark, cool, and foggy. I'm having lunch and then going out to work on some air rooting on some of the orchard, heading for 90 for the weekend, 80s next week. Storms on and off.
@igorsMistress
we are just out of the age group that would have had tubes put in our ears as kids.
As it is, we didn't and the scarring and damage and the lack of drainage is hell come allergy season. Mine is FAR worse in allergy season, which is why I'm trying to get them more under control. With not being able to take meds for them, it's taken me all these decades to get SOMEONE to listen to me, and that's only after I made a fuss when DS complained ONCE to same doc about his med issue and got referred for shots. I've been asking for decades, and they just kept pushing the pills that messed with me in more ways than I can count.
I actually shamed my doctor.
"why when he asked ONCE, you sent him, and I've been asking for years." I mean, dammit!
That’s just ridiculous! I don’t have issues with my GP doc like that. She’s very open to alternatives other than pills. I got a daith piercing for my migraines, haven’t had a migraine since I got it, and I was telling her about it last week. She checked and realized it has been almost a year since I had medication for them and was surprised.

My issue is typically ER or hospital doctors. I had what I believe was a pinched nerve that sent to the ER because the pain was really bad. I told the doctors I have chronic urticaria, but they sent me home with medication for shingles. What a dipshit. I paid the bill with the exception of his part of it. I told the billing person I refuse to pay for the services of a dumbass who did nothing for me. On my recent visit the nurses checked me for stroke, but not one damn person looked in my ears. Vertigo, hello!

As if we don't live with our own bodies 24/7
Same issue with draws, No don't listen to me that that vein rolls and I'll be bruised before you take a second breath, By all means try it 7 or 8 times because you cannot admit I was right. And PLEASE ignore the fact that I have a poorly healed shattered thumb and severe arthritis in that hand and ignore my warnings on using that hand as a back up draw, hitting misfiring nerves. I swear....

Hey everyone! Most of the lettuce has been harvested. Butter crunch this year, and so tasty! The cabbages and collards are doing really well - if I can just keep the caterpillars out. They even munch on onion tops, it’s crazy! I might start putting the little beggars in a jar to feed to the girls since I don’t let them in the garden. They dig up everything. LOL
It’s hot and humid today, so I’m done for now. Peppers go in the ground later today.

Why they don’t listen is beyond me!

For real! You’re nice though, they get three tries and then they’re done. If at that point they can’t do it I pull my arm back and demand someone else. I quit the 7 or 8 pokes about 10 years ago.

I don't mind being a pincushion if they listen and are really trying. I'm a hard go. One year, I had a poor first year nurse who was trying SO hard, I finally offered to do it myself.

The ballet was really good
Good! The are amazing, aren't they?
Our soil is very very fine sand.
Where are you located? You can put it in your profile, then people won't ask every time. Just the state is fine.
Why can't seed sellers include pictures of foliage or seedlings
IKR?!?! Seed packets used to have the seedling ID, always. I was surprised the first time I grew spinach, and realized how helpful that drawing was.
