What did you do in the garden today?

Nah...we gotta get CLEAN after gardening.
I used to love the smell of Irish Spring.
I miss the OLD lever 2000 soap.
I usually use dial gold.
Nothing fancy, nothing floofy, I want to be scrubbed clean and smell like antiseptic when I'm done with a shower. You could also cook a lobster in there with me.
I had to laugh, my DH always says, "omg you're taking a Lobster Shower" because I have it set so hot. Yes, I love a hot shower, one of the best things in modern life I appreciate most.

Hey, Buzz smells a dead rat! Check him out!

I saw the cornbread mix & baking soda were indeed obviously disturbed, with telltale rodent droppings. No new rodent holes this morning either. That Jiffy cornbread mix with baking soda is Genius! I set 2 more up in other spots. Goodbye rats! 👋 & good riddance!

I knew what you meant & didn't even catch that typo 😆

We use liquid soaps, they don't scum up the shower as bad as bar soaps do. I really like the Dr. Bronner Lavender. I love Mint or Lemon soaps, too. I've got Lemon at the kitchen sink.

I use Dr Bronners also, but the tea tree oil one. Shampoo and soap all in one, love that stuff!

I love the skunks, they eat the grubs! Not a fan when they spray, but they don't do that too much. DH even let one out of a trap & it didn't spray him.

I used to make my own soap, now I get it from a local goat farmer. Our water here suck so bad, it just works better.
Our water is so hard here!, plus all the chemicals they put in it. I have psoriasis and we got a filter for our shower. My skin is much less dry and my hair appreciates it too. I use a goats milk bar on the dogs and they actually smell better since we got that filter.

I have a couple of questions for anyone in Hawaii or Arizona...

You are the only two states who don't do the (wicked, dumb, annoying, irritating) clock dance with Daylight Saving Time twice a year.

1) How did you get so lucky convince whoever had the power to make that decision? Michigan *might* put it on the ballot in November, but I just read that the bill got shoved into a committee where ideas go to die, so I'm not hopeful.

2) Do your smart phones know not to switch?

I run my day on "chicken time," ie, sun up and sun down, but I have to remember that the rest of the world doesn't.

G’morning all. Took a little walk around the yard and got some snaps. It’s a mess back there, lots of stuff to run through the chipper. Fortunately I have the teen and tween at my disposal this week so we’re getting all the work done. The lemon tree is loaded with flowers and they’re open. It has been humming with bees all weekend.

AZ was already not on it when I moved here. The case for not being on it is the heat; we don’t need more daylight hours (ie working hours using more energy in the process) when it’s hot as hell. DST was started as a means to save energy, doesn’t work here.

My phone knows, likely based on my location now but I used to have to tell it or change it back.
