What did you do in the garden today?

Hey guys, I am not meaning to beg but if any of you have expirience hatching duckling can you guys take a look at my post, it is called “Duckling not walking”, any help is hugely appreciated.
I don't have experience with ducks, but when a baby pigeon or chicken was lame we gave vitamin B & Selenium, which often helped.

If an adult female went lame we gave it calcium in drinking water with own food set up in a separate calm cage. Most times that helped within 1to 3 days. When it did not help, it could've been a symptom of parathyroid or salmonella so we'd give Batril.

Only other lame times were sprains from landing hard from a height, but usually not with babies, unless one fell out of the nest bowl.
Sorry, I do not know much about ducks.

Allergies are winning this week, that's for sure.
I've managed to get the stuff out of the freeze dryer and into jars, two loads of laundry, and I set and grouted a splash back for the bathroom sink.
That's it. That's all I've got. My whole face hurts. Dang sinus'.
I hear ya about allergies. Holy crap I am having the worst time of it, plus 3 days ago inhaled that darn crap they sprayed. DH has wanted to take me to the hospital past 2 days. Hives, wheezing, asthma, red swollen skin, what a PITA! Well, the hives have finally settled down, now just red blotches, why is neck always the worst? 1st place hives show up, last place redness finally fades from.

Ooh, pics of your tile please!!! 😃

You must love turnips.
How many years worth of seeds?
Surprisingly I do not like the root on this Shogoin variety. I use it for deer food plots, greens and the flower buds like broccoli Rab. It is a all-white root Japanese type with a strong flavor. The plus is it lives through the winter then bolts where purple top does not live through the winter in my area. I wish I was skilled enough to cross the 2.

What's funny...yesterday, I had a bag of chips in our snack bag on the job (for DH) & I rarely go for chips but I suddenly had the urge to scarf some down...ate half the bag like a glutton! 😆

What is it...the salt? It feels good on the throat & does somehow affect the windpipe, like scratching an itch ya can't reach. I'm craving cajun peanuts now, the juice is hot & salty, I could literally drink it! I'm still wheezing btw but at least my tastebuds are happy.
Happy to hear. The salt is what makes the chips work. Dehydration is something that I always end up with during the summer so I have to have chips on hand. I drank 113.8 oz of water yesterday and still had to get a bag of chips.

tile isn't anything fancy. DH just using the sink like a duck and I was tired of wiping the painted wall.
I did the same tile on a long sink in the basement.
Next up is a grey slate tile in the kitchen, above the sink, for the same reason.

A decent harvest on the rhubarb. Will cut & freeze to make jam later on.
I had some HUGE stalks in one of my rhubarb plants and used those for jam. Hubby likes the jam, so this is a BIG win.

How do you care for rhubarb? What kind of fertilizer/food does it like? I have one huge plant (start from a neighbor) and two much smaller plants (purchased crowns in 2022). If the small ones looked as good as the big one... ooo baby, would I have some rhubarb!

I think it is the salt! I'm not a chip person but crave chips after outside working. Especially dill pickle chips!??

I finally got all the squash in and last of cukes. DH built a trellis from PVC and woven fencing. All the berries are loving this year .
