I don't have experience with ducks, but when a baby pigeon or chicken was lame we gave vitamin B & Selenium, which often helped.Hey guys, I am not meaning to beg but if any of you have expirience hatching duckling can you guys take a look at my post, it is called “Duckling not walking”, any help is hugely appreciated.
If an adult female went lame we gave it calcium in drinking water with own food set up in a separate calm cage. Most times that helped within 1to 3 days. When it did not help, it could've been a symptom of parathyroid or salmonella so we'd give Batril.
Only other lame times were sprains from landing hard from a height, but usually not with babies, unless one fell out of the nest bowl.
Sorry, I do not know much about ducks.
