The dahlia project continues between many other commitments. Even after only one year the root mass is thick on many of them. Cutting them apart is sometimes difficult, and many go into the compost, but still have many left to plant, sell, or share next spring. Just a few more clumps to divide, and pack them up in shavings to sleep until planting time. It's nice to finally have new insulated garage doors, so I can store my bulbs and taters in there.
Also got my onion seeds planted inside.
Any suggestions of what to do with a lot of pumpkins that my neighbor gave me? Most of them are heritage pumpkins, so I don't know if they are edible. Lumpy looking.. Some are the teeny, tiny ones.
