Cucumbers have finally started producing. Lots of pickle soup in our future.
Gathered this sucker from the garden today. I'm calling it "Sheep Nuggets."

WE HAVE A CHICK! And it’s alive……whoohoo! The third and last egg has not progressed from earlier today but I can hear it pecking, but no cheep.

Planting herbs didn't work for me. The only thing I found that works consistently is covering them with netting or a row cover.

I just finished feeding the onions and shallots with weed tea fertilizer. I'll probably have to wash my hands two or three more times before the stink comes off. Watered the peas and carrots.

The peas are growing fast right now. I picked yesterday and there were several ready to pick today that the kids ate. I'll pick more for the freezer Monday if any are left.

DW brought in a couple nice Zukes and watered. My Hot Peppers are all doing great. Only down, Baby Bunny has found a way in. Some chicken wire fixed that.

My poor lettuce was fried with last weeks heat wave, the tomatoes faired well - of course they love the heat. Tomorrow I need to get the pole beans and sweet peas under control.

And I have been able to mow the grass again (lawn tractor was dow), wish o could get my niece to drop by with the bush hog to cut down my paddocks, the weeds and white clover are overtaking them.

The humidity has caused the clover to develop Slaframine fungus which causes the horses to develop ‘slobbers’ - it’s literally a poisoning from the slaframine, tomorrow I will spray the barnyard with Dicamba (broadleaf herbicide) to kill the white clover in there. Then the horses will be confined to the barnyard until I can get the paddocks cut back and sprayed also.

English it is called Portulaca Oleracea, I guess it’s the scientific name.
Edit: apparently it’s also called little hogweed

I know it as purslane. In my garden, it's an edible weed. I don't mind it hanging out in my garden, as it's low growing habit shades the dirt and conserves moisture. You can buy seeds for it in some of the garden catalogs. That made me laugh the first time I saw that.
