What did you do in the garden today?

Spelt hulls - for people who like to stuff their own mattresses and pillows :)
And what's left will enrich the garden soil.

I have a hobby: chickens! My other hobby, working out, got me to where I am now. I developed a body dysmorphic disorder, and had so many panic attacks because “I didn’t have time to finish my workout”, which could take up to three hours a day. I had recurring inflammations, especially on the left side of my chest, I had to go to hospital, because I thought I was heaving a heart attack. It’s a long story, but I’m back at the gym the past month, and I found a job finally. And I’m getting better.
Happy to hear you’re better.:thumbsup Tried working out once way back in time and was doing ……ok, but tore the bicep tendon in my left arm and that gave me the excuse to quit. I was not heartbroken.:D

Is it just my rooster or do they all have an issue with shoes? Chip, the rooster, doesn’t give me any grief usually but the shoe thing can get him wigged out for some odd reason. Now, I know when I go out to get the eggs in shorts I stun him, after-all seeing a giant pair of pasty white chicken legs coming in your direction is certainly scary….but the shoe thing🤔Not getting the chicken stress out over a change in the shoes.

Not even that… Tuesday is my “I am mentally ill day”. I do acupuncture therapy, psychotherapy, meet my social worker and eat outside.
Anyway, if you want to follow the video, you can find all the episodes on Daily Motion. I am on eps 119, it updates every week. The small baby girl in this episode is probably the reincarnated powerful woman that sent the dragon coffin to find her reincarnated brother. Epic adventure.

Yes I have a lot of weeds. I had trouble keeping up between my health issues, rainy weather, 3 heat waves, and having a seriously bad fall. On top of that both of my old weed whackers died. However, the massive “weed” next to the pole beans are my asparagus bed. I let them grow on purpose until it gets near first frost time. The weeds behind my pole beans are on my neighbor’s property. Not my problem and because that is on the north side of the property and it does not shade my garden. That’s also part of a marsh that provides habitat and foraging areas for the local wildlife. But weeds can serve a purpose as shade on hot sunny days. Also blooming weeds attract pollinators. And many people would consider wild black raspberry plants as weeds. But I look at it as a gift from the birds that I feed in the winter.
