What did you do in the garden today?

My indoor basil was starting to get out of hand so I trimmed it back today.

The 2 tomato plants were labeled Mortgage lifter when I bought them. It is not. No slicers for me this year.

My neighbor says all her purchased tomato plants are cherry toms, not canning. She said this happened last year too. Marked as a beefsteak, but obviously not.

I watered part of the garden. And a couple hours later, it rained.

This tomato is taking forever to ripen. And I’m not sure if I’m happy about that or not… the longer it takes the bigger it gets but I want a big tomato now

Since I don't have any spare garden soil laying around, this was my solution for preventing the newly planted cucumber "hill" from collapsing. It will prevent evaporation too. Not fancy but it'll work.

Selling off 20 lbs to a homegurl works the farmers market selling fruit bowls to tourist. For anyone from the states not familiar. There basically like a big strawberry had a baby with a kiwi. The red and yellow are sweeter.alot sweeter.

Great for farm perimeter to keep thieves and tweakers out.

I had a big beefsteak tomato on the vine that wouldn't ripen and when I finally got into the garden enough to get it, it had fallen off the vine and rotted. I was not happy.
