Why can’t I just deal with powdery mildew instead of blight

So sad. I’d be crushed.Must be something in the air this week... I found a dead chicken yesterday morning. She wasn't my favorite but definitely one of my prettier hens. This is her below during better days. I noticed a few weeks ago that she wasn't eating much and seemed to be staying away from others. I couldn't find anything wrong with her but put her in the quarantine pen with a couple of BOs. She started to eat again but definitely was submissive to the BOs. Not sure why she died...

My attempts to save my favorite hen are not going positively. The tumor keeps growing and she has more or less stopped eating. She is so very thin now... I didn't want her to die lonely in a cage in my house so I took her out to the quarantine pen with the other 2 BOs. I've stopped the ivermectin therapy and just want to give her a few good days with friends before she passes.

I'm so sorry. Words just aren't enough, sounds like you gave your pullet and rooster a lot of love. The loss of a son is beyond words. So sorryMy oldest daughter is awesome. I was just feeling down. I live in the country, I had to stay at my son's house and no less it's an apartment. Too much light from almost every angle. One of the grandkids let the dog out and he jumped on me at around 4 am. I got the text from my husband about my chicks. I didn't know that my sweet cockerel was the 2nd one. I lost my youngest son in 2005, I am not okay. Life has a way of putting us to the test. Goodnight everyone before I actually start crying again, because my daughter gave me her permission to
I get dejected if some of my plants die or don't do well, but in the scheme of things it's really not a big deal. Life happens, and it's not always the way we want it to go. Maybe ask your brother to replant some Brussels sprouts seeds for you. You might gain a new gardening partner. My brother killed one of my Brussels sprout seedlings right after I asked him to be careful kicking a ball around. I should probably be happy it was just one but I am still super annoyed
It won't kill the colony - it disrupts their tracking ability. If the scout gets lost the army won't invade. These ants are only little black ants, not fire ants or such, so no reason for me to kill a colony.Does this lemon treatment kill the colony or merely keep the ants away from the area where the lemon is placed?
Ad it in the tenancy agreementJust started weeding the garden at the rental after doing the end of tenancy paperwork.
Don't these young people know you pull weeds in gardens? You do not run over the garden with a lawn mower to weed.
Ah well - lot more to do there this weekend - replanting the gardens.
