I do believe I am going to hang a few Christmas lights at the coops also I am a bit of Christmas light mania

beleive it or not Dad had a bit of racism in him and had a very bad name for those with x-mas lights all year

Ugh, it is already down to 36! So much for my plants. I covered some of my garden just in case i can save them for a while...

These azaleas were still blooming today!

Dad has been gone since 1977 they found he had heart and veins the size of mine at 5 ft 120lbs but he was 6'2 208 lbs had never been sick a day in his life till then and it was very fast they said it could be passed to Sons only of which he had two at the time it was only found in a cardiac event

I'm enlisting the 5 and 8 year olds for picking up rocks and putting them in the wheel barrow this morning.
Need to water and sweep the patio. That's it for today, we need groceries and feed.

Sorry you lost him. My Dad died of heart problems too, as did all his brothers and sisters.

I am sorry to here that his Son's and their Son's all seem to be fine and maybe they know now how to rule that our or prove it and repair some way?

Today i uncovered my plants in the garden. It did freeze last night. The ones i covered with canvas tarps are fine, the plastic tarps did nothing. I was pleased, a lot of the perennials did not wilt or freeze yet. But going down to 26 tonight. Sigh, winter has arrived.
