What did you do in the garden today?

always keep in mind that.. you have to get right in there or they will spread all over. unless you want them to spread. but put some markers. people always avoid them while mowing cause they hurt and then every year they gain ground!
I want them to spread to cover the front of the fence. My only concern is I think I maybe should have spaced them a little further from the fence (they won't damage it right)?

How close? They will cover the fence and then some.... pruning can keep it under control.

HARD pruning. lol raspberries are the best of the berries. but they come at a price!.

they will spread both ways, into your fence and towards the empty side regardless..
and past the fence..is this your property fence? hope your neighbour is dutiful

It is my NEW wooden privacy fence! I planted a little ways out, I figured the raspberry bush would reach the fence (resistance) and sprawl out the other way!

I purposely planted my raspberries close to the property line! I hope it keeps my nosy neighbors in their own yard!

And, can someone explain to me how a palm tree, obviously separated from its stump can still be growing?

Thanks and come again!

I helped my daughter plant an old strawberry pot full of herbs and flower seeds to take back to her apt. She has spring fever.
