What did you do in the garden today?

Wow dan your luffa looks great. I would never have thought of growing them. I might have to try them come spring. :)

Wow you struck gold getting all those seeds.

Dan why you gotta rub it in with the tomato plants. :) Way to go!

We got about 1 1/2 inches. Did you get some? Sheesh Alabama is tore up though!

Thanks! They are fun but take ALOT of space. I know, and that's just from one, there's still a lot more in the barn.
Cause I was excited.

I don't know how many inches we got but it rained on and off for probably 3 hours combined.
Yeah.

This spring I would like to do a small bed in ground and my kiddie pools, raised bed.

I looked at my three tomato plants the other day and they did not look like they would come out of it. But I guess we will see. :)

We got a good bit of rain the first night then it rained steady for several hours the next day. I told my hubby he needs to dig holes to plant my grape vine and his cherry tree while the soil is still soft from the rain. So we are going to try this weekend.

Sounds like a plan.

Well that stinks, I hope they come back. :p the frost and freeze barely stopped my banana's, turned all the leaves brown but they've all got new ones coming out.

That's good! I'm glad you got a decent amount. Lol, that's probably wise, I hope you get them planted.

So I was looking at my tomatoes again this morning and it turns out that where I thought only one or two had new growth almost all of them have new growth, Even the ones that weren't covered by the sheet. I suppose I better get busy building a shelter.

I gave in and counted the luffa seeds, I guess mine are a little smaller than what they sell at Sow True because I counted 352 of them  :th I don't think I'm so bad at counting that I miscounted by a 100

Ok stop me if this is too much :p
So the fact that I got 100 seeds more than Sow True says is in an average 2 ounces got me wondering if my seeds were smaller than the seeds we bought so I pulled out the two packs of luffa seeds and set mine beside them, the answer is no. Mine are on the right in both pics.

The seeds on the left are the same variety as mine, they're the ones I grew my plants from.

The seeds on te left here are another variety but unfortunately I never got any plants that did anything.
