What did you do in the garden today?

Dan, your seeds are bigger. The only question I have for you is this: Sometimes when seed is harvested before the fruit is fully ripe, while the seed will have good size and color, the embryo and cotyledons will not be developed inside the seed. It may even be hollow, or almost hollow. A practice germination, or even breaking open a few seeds will determine if your seeds are ripe.

Yeah. They all feel pretty solid, there have been a few that you can tell by feeling them that they're no good. I guess since I have more than I'm ever going to be able to use breaking some open won't hurt.

So I was looking at my tomatoes again this morning and it turns out that where I thought only one or two had new growth almost all of them have new growth, Even the ones that weren't covered by the sheet. I suppose I better get busy building a shelter.

Yeah if you want to keep them. Mine are totally brown. They are done. But that's ok.

Lazy gardener, I cracked open 4 seeds, they all look full.
