I am going stir Crazy I started looking at gardening catalogs and going through seeds

that is pretty much why I went to tires we are all disabled now or just old not up to fighting all the weeding and care of a real garden put week block under the tires then added compost black dirt more compost more dirt stacking them 2 tall easy to weed

most are standard car size go three on potatoes as you can grown more when you stack

Hi folks! Been a while. I have done nothing in my garden since my last post, not even any more planning. We have a whopping high of 5*F today. Joy. No gardening in that. The garden looks beautiful, though, with it's perfect mounds of untouched snow draped over them like blankets!
I finally got my seeds sent out to Deepbluesea.
I also plan on spending around 50 this year on seeds. My dad got me another lamp for seed starting in my basement for the holiday. I am pleased!

Yay! I'm excited to get the first seeds of the year in the mail--thank you!

I'm going through the seeds I have and checking dates. Then I'll do some germination testing and make my order(s). We're back above zero today, but I'm pretty sure all of my lettuce, spinach, chard, bok choy and maybe even kale are toast. I covered the garlic starts heavily, but they likely bought it, as well. Sigh.

Today I buckle down and start planning my garden! *shakesfist* I keep putting it off for some reason? Our last average frost date is in April so I need Feb-March to start seeds.
