not allot done in the garden did move the 5 pullets and 1 cockerel from my new coop to the main coop leaving the main coop large birds the new one silkies boy that was fun

Had surgery yesterday, they think they got all the cancer. Sitting reading posts and putting seeds in planting order. Ice storm here. Thinking I might pull out some frozen veggies and pick some from the back room and make homemade vegetable soup today. With homemade flat bread.

GL, Runner. Wasn't so long ago I lost my own mama to cancer. The surgeries were easier than the chemo for her, she had bad reactions. Try to take care of yourself. I hope you have a great team of doctors and a solid support network on your side!

Thanks for the hugs,. I love hugs. We didn't make soup today. We picked some kale, broccoli and cabbage from the back room and made cold slaw and ribs. We are literally snowed and iced in. How is everyone else doing with this crazy weather? Dreaming of spring and working in the garden.

Iced in here too. Dreaming of spring is about right. I finalized my seed order yesterday. I feel like I'm getting to be a "big kid" as I am ordering the next size up from the smallest packet for some of my seeds this year! One small packet will no longer cover some of my vegetable production. Spent $73, including my seed potatoes. First planting dates for indoor starts are at the end of January. Gotta get my shelving and plant lights, heat mats, etc. set up so we can cram everything we can into our shorter growing season.

Crazy weather, 60 F tonight. Supposed to be freezing again tomorrow!
