What did you do in the garden today?

Rachel, I am growing cauliflower this year and they look very similar to those cabbages right now. They sure are pretty! I am enjoying the way they look a lot! Not a big fan of cauliflower (partner likes it tons and it goes OK in curry) but I think that I will be growing it again in the future just for lose lovely deep blue/green waxy leaves! It gets my excited to see those in the garden!

My chickens need water wings as well! It started raining yesterday evening and the forecast is back to saying all weekend storms. We've got a deluge right now.
I managed to plant some red yardlong beans I found in the crisper drawer, a few pumpkin seeds, some more carrots (because I'm an optimist), more purslane, mini-bok choi, more edamame and a couple of eggplants. No one likes eggplant except for me, but I do and I think they're beautiful and it's my garden, so there. ;)
OK. Ordered water wings for you too should be floating your way soon. Ha ha. Definitely grow which you like even if no one else does like it. That’s why I squeezed in the rose of green beans I did. No one will touch them but me but I love them and it reminds me of sitting at the wooden table with my grandpa snapping them. You enjoy your egg plant !

Flood warnings here. In between monsoons i planted more grass seeds and winter wheat. Covered it with bunny poo and old hay so hopefully it stays. The last stuff i planted is growing like crazy!
I put 55 strawberry plants in yesterday, but no chance of planting the rest until things dry up a bit.
