So the weather around here is 60’s and upper 50’s. I’ve got small greenhouses that increase the the temperature a couple of degrees. Well it’s going to dip into the upper 40’s around 48 -49 once or twice this week and then the warm weather is coming. My question is will my okra seedlings survive this? How about my cucumber seedlings?? (They’re inside currently)

Keep those okra seedlings inside for a little longer, they are heat lovers.

2 days of rain so I get a rest from outside work . I am diabetic and a family history of diabetes . Had a low sugar episode last night . 40 lowest I ever had . It fooled me as my levels did not drop from the work as usual . So I took my normal amount of insulin all day . Laid down early because I was wore out . Woke up sweating and blurred vision . Ate sweets and skipped my bedtime insulin . I am 68 and been diabetic since 2012 .

You be careful dammit, BF is 73 going on 74 he is diabetic this year he is having more episodes of low sugar .. He had always been very stable he was 30 when he was diagnosed ..

Morning gardeners brought home more tires just three ... Did 3 for the potato
left odd man out got three yesterday Son and I will filling the bought 12 bags of miracle grow yesterday adding our aged chicken to it

Inside again, under the thumb of 1 lone chick. @pasdechat73 I though it was because my guy was solo... but apparently not lol. Hows your 6 chix and your serenity? Too cute and too fun. Will miss his dependence when he is all growd up and ignoring me.

Grateful he grew some feathers and does not need my warmth as much, I still don't have a brooder set up. He is practically a house cat- eats, under foot and sitting on my lap.

I have a working garage door. WHOOT! He said this model weighs 400 pounds and there's no way we were moving it without handles and a spring. Ya, no kidding.

Sold my banjo. Sigh. I might have to get something else to play on the deck to the whole park. Maybe a digital bagpipe chanter.

Took 4 saw chains in to be sharpened . Stopped at Menard's for pro mix and seeds . So looked at roots and bulbs . Bought some . A plus is the roots are in clear bags . So I could see signs of life and size . WalMart roots are in green bags . No idea of size or life .
