What did you do in the garden today?

Oh I forgot to mention my weather, lows in the mid 60's highs in the mid 70's with a humid southerly breeze off the Gulf. Ya'll hate these cold fronts up north but the local weatherman refers to ours as cool fronts. :love We did hit 103F on Easter Sunday, so my afternoon project is to improve airflow for my grow out pen. I was sweating crazy setting in a perch for my now week old chicks.

They don’t look like they’re dying to me! They’ll be okay. Just need some water and maybe a little bit of plant food and they should perk right up! And pick the yellow/dying leaves off.
That’s what I was hoping, I thought I might have over feed them with plant food, and burned them. Been watering them twice a day plus all the rain, we haven’t given up, just expecting no good results.

Yeah, I’ve burned some of mine before too but they usually get over it and perk up eventually!!! Could also possibly be overwatering too because sometimes that causes yellowing and stuff too. Although in your case I doubt that’s it. But they should be fine. Especially if you just recently got them? Sometimes the transplant shocks them too. Usually after a few weeks though they should start really taking off!!! Tomatoes are pretty hardy. Some of those peppers do look pretty questionable though and not sure about them but the tomatoes and strawberries should bounce back and I’d keep at it with the peppers!! Peppers in particular are pretty thirsty plants and might need more water than others and also they like it really warm so it might not be warm enough. My peppers never did that well in the ground and have always done better in pots.
