What did you do in the garden today?

Good morning gardeners. Your garden is beautiful @Acre4Me :love I've backed off watering a bit after getting everything mulched. It's a hot week, 110+ until next weekend but overnight lows are in the high 70s so at least my birds get some relief. I'm selling my 4 fully feathered red ranger/Dorking girls, they should be gone this week, then we'll process the extras I have here to reduce flock size. I've been busy dehydrating vegetables, carrots and peppers are in now, celery is next. I'm doing some greens and then powdering them, Igor will never know I've added them to stuff that way ;) I ordered a new handheld mandoline slicer, mine is quite old and its has a broken corner. Got a new vacuum sealer too, that is one kitchen gadget I can't live without! I've been in purge mode again and cleared out the rest of a room the other day, then claimed the empty corner for my meditation space. I had to clear out of one bedroom except my work desk when my daughter and grandkids moved back last December and I miss that ritual. Haven't started painting yet but everything is here, on the agenda for next week, hopefully it'll be done before the holiday weekend! Have a great day everyone!

@igorsMistress - I’m dehydrating peaches and strawberries today! I recently purchased a dehydrator, so this is my first time using it!
yummy! I hope you enjoy using it. I've never done peaches before, let me know how they turn out. We never cared for berries dried unless they're in pemmican so haven't done much of those. I love my dehydrator though, it makes it possible to store a LOT of produce and herbs in a small space. Let's not forget tomato chips :drool

Do you sweeten the peaches? That's my issue with pineapple, it seems like there's added sugar and it's too much. I like apples, raisins and mango. We want to try melons this year if we can find some good ones.
