Finished the door to the greenhouse, or I finished mounting it. I still need to shave a little wood in one corner until it fits smoothly, and put in some support so the non hinge side doesn't sag.... But its in place for now.

A simple shotgun fire into the air would make them run back to the city.I was cooking dinner and DH was walking the dog. On his way back he caught people 150 feet INSIDE our ranch boundary and headed for the barn "to see the cute animals" WTH people?!?!?!
I don't go in your city backyard to pet your cat. WHY would they think that's OK?!
If they pulled that on my neighbor's property, they would have been met with a rifle scope.
I might win a Darwin award if I see a Mountain Lion or some other big cat. My instinct when I see a cat is to pet it. I just love cats of all types and sizes. I was at the Cincinnati Zoo a few years ago and standing next to some glass where there were animals and a large cat walked up to the glass right next to me and I instinctively went to pet it but my hand hit the glass which woke me up back to reality. I swear cats put me in a trance... however I would not start going through someones farm to check out the animals. I live in a city and people just start going through your property thinking its ok as long as they are checking out the animals. They get the chickens all stirred up and then they start flying over fences they normally would not even consider flying over to get away from the people checking them out. I ended up putting up privacy fencing and locks which annoy me because I have to lock and unlock doors/gates just to go from the front yard to the back yard when before I just easily walked. The is something wrong with city folks.I put that kind of person in the same category as the idiots that want to pet the cute buffalo or bear in Yellowstone.
I've been thinking about making ketchup, I've had a couple really good specialty made ones and there is just no comparison.Last weekend I made ketchup (which is to the right of the picture)
Love Penny! We ended up being adopted by 2 garden cats when we moved in here. We normally only keep indoor cats but it is fun to have our 2 "helping" us in the garden. Our adopted barn cat "Penny" enjoying the mustard greens patch.
OMG the floof! Is she an easter egger? I love mine so much. One of our chickens "Galadriel". She is 2.5 years old, and a favorite. She looks like she may have recently molted as she is looking particularly fluffy.
Looks good! Diagonal bracing can prevent the non-hinge side from dragging.Finished the door to the greenhouse, or I finished mounting it. I still need to shave a little wood in one corner until it fits smoothly, and put in some support so the non hinge side doesn't sag.... But its in place for now.
