What did you do in the garden today?

Four of my tomatoes have finally sprouted! Two of the Fireworks (one of my favorites) and a couple others I didn't note. It's been down to 31 here the last couple of nights and the low 30s for a couple weeks and the greenhouse isn't heated so I wasn't surprised there weren't many and so happy I have some!
:wee

It was 3F two nights ago, but today got to 40! Woot!

Our eggplant (all but one variety) and one of our hot pepper varieties germinated on Sunday (6 days), and our broccoli and cauliflower popped through the ground today (2.5 days). It feels very exciting around here, and I've been eyeing the vegetable garden expectantly (only one snow drift left but lots of garlic)!

Good afternoon gardeners. I ordered an Arabian Lilac and it arrived today. I’m pretty sure it’s because someone in this thread posted a pic and I liked it. I still don’t have a place for it, I’d really like to put it in a corner in the coop yard but I’m not too sure that would work. I’ll be looking at options tomorrow and decide.

The Cloudy day tomatoes are up. There off the heat mats without their domes now. I'll give them another two days to pull the cups that had no germination in them, then I'll wait another week to transplant the extras, into other cups.
I planted them on the 10th and they came up yesterday or the day before. I watered a couple of days ago as I don't think my soil was damp enough for fast germination.

Next up are the cherry tomatoes.

COLD and windy again here. Sun should be out tomorrow for the first time in a week. It will be welcome. The weekend will be sunny but WINDY. I need to tackle the garden and get some alpaca nails trimmed.
