And here I am in the middle of Nebraska and we're heading for 60, already at 50 AND I just brought all the bed linens in from the line, as they dried in less than 20 minutes. :::running and ducking:::: #NotUsForAChangeThat's a great idea for wasabi hr! DH would love that @Wee Farmer Sarah! I planted it 2 years ago & have never dug any up, I'm kind of intimidated by it. LOL
I just went out to check on the birds, both coops are snow free inside & both runs have just a bit of blowing snow in them. I threw out some scratch in the runs to make sure they'd come out - they only have food & water in the covered runs. I think we have about a foot already as it was coming in the top of my boots. DH is out making his first pass with the tractor. We have a couple neighbors to take care of too.
OMG I forgot you had one!!!! That giant Norwegian beastie. The largest one you can put on your head, cover your back and snuggle your arms in to keep warm, like a pod!

eta I just noticed @WthrLadys beautiful scarf (tho that's so not what it's called) is in the background! I love that thing. Hanging on the chair drying after it kept me warm out in the snow.
And please pass the cake !

never heard of him until yesterday. I hear he had a white picket fence put around the whole town.I used to live next to New Albany. It's the $$$$ zone. Les Wexner, Bath and Body Works/Victoria Secret, that's home. You should see their high school. It looks like a college campus. Back in the day the whole place was normal country/suburban living. Then it became THE place to live, and prices jumped, taxes sky-rocketed, and the old settlers were forced to move, priced/taxed out. Prices were high then, higher since, and will now be crazy. Although it takes YEARS to build one of those hyper clean plants for chips.
While I'll agree that other places in Ohio would have benefited more from the new plant, other places simply do not have the proximity and support system that being right outside of Columbus and CMH IAP do.
Taste good tooAnyone try Nasturtium to repeal squash bugs? Farmers almanac recommend them. I'm going to try some out, they are pretty none the less.
I love the snow. You couldn't pay me to move south. It gets harder the older I get, but I'm a snow girl for sure. I hate hot, I'd take a blizzard over 90 degrees any day! I suppose thats why I live where I do. LolYou guys are making me really glad I moved south....Our piddly couple inches of snow usually doesn't come until February. My mother lives 2 hrs north of me along the Arkansas-Missouri border. She's had a foot of snow already in January. In the meantime, it'll be 64 degrees here on Monday....
