Sorry, I don’t do organ meat either. Got another section of split rail fence put up Just one more to go. This last hole was all small stones in about the first 12 inches going down. Dislodged one large stone about midway’s down then finished digging with post hole digger. The last section will wait until Monday. Heading out to finish covering walkways in the big garden with straw then planting onions.

Run it through meat grinder. Makes great burgers.

I can't do organ meat. Just can't. Buuut, DH suggested making some dog treats out of it. Gonna see if I can find a good recipe for that maybe. Maybe just sliced thin & baked or even ground & then dehydrated. Something.

A great idea for the dogs I used beef broth and oats.
or brown rice.

They gave me someones box of heart, liver, kidneys & tongue by accident.

I hauled some not-quite frozen compost up to the green house to warm up so I can make potting soil with it.

I'm not going to be able to plant the blueberry plants that came soon enough. So I got 3 decent sized cardboard boxes and filled them with compost. They're sitting by the wood stove warming up, and in a couple days, I'll plant the blueberry bushes in them. They can live in the mud room for a bit.

Dog treats it is! In the dehydrator - which is outside. LOL. Everyone said it stinks so put it outside. Used all 9 trays, that's a lot of treats!

Got the area for the feed plot all nicely tilled. Just need to fence it off and sow the seeds.

Got 5 wagon loads of compost tilled into the main garden. Now we are working on rebuilding the hoop house.
